Portraiture should capture you at your very best, at Dutton House we offer both modern contemporary plain background portraits in Black & White or Colour or with our amazing background projection system we can create many different settings to suit family groups, children and babies, teenagers and adult portraits; here you can choose from classic painted backgrounds, real indoor and outdoor scenes or abstract computer graphic effects.

Dutton House itself with its period furniture and decor provides a perfect background for a classic indoor location portrait. Our walled garden with its impressive Wellingtonia tree makes a splendid setting for outdoor portraits.

Lifestyle Portraits - This can be a very rewarding and enjoyable style of portraiture for the more adventurous. Locations such as Dinmore Woods, or perhaps Ludlow castle can all make excellent backdrops for that perfect portrait. In fact any local beauty spot can be used, from a woodland setting, a crumbling barn or castle to a stately house. With a thermos of hot coffee, one or two outfits and a lot of fun, we will create some stunning and beautiful portraits of you.

At your portrait sitting a variety of poses are taken using our high quality Digital cameras. You are then invited back to the studio for your portrait viewing when you will see all your images on a Hi definition computer monitor, we also can project the images onto a screen, with this system your portraits can be shown at different sizes to help you choose the pictures that you want and sizes that will best suit your home. Your choice of portraits are then carefully digitally printed, in colour or black & white, on to real photographic paper and mounted, inclusive of any cropping or digital finishing required.
